In Kyiv, a conflict arose between two acquaintances during a gathering, resulting in one participant striking a woman multiple times in the head. He faces a potential sentence of up to fifteen years in prison. 
The police received a report from a man who discovered the lifeless body of a woman in his friend's apartment.
Investigative teams and a forensic expert arrived at the scene, identifying the deceased as a 58-year-old resident of the capital, who showed signs of violence on her body.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the apartment belonged to a 36-year-old man who had been consuming alcohol with the woman. A conflict broke out between them, and the suspect struck the woman, causing her to fall. Realizing she could not resist, he delivered another blow and left the apartment. The woman died on the spot from her injuries.
Following this, operatives collaborated with analysts to track down the suspect and arrested him under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
Investigators, under the supervision of the local prosecutor's office, have charged him with intentional murder under Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The court has ordered his detention pending trial.
