Five individuals were injured in a traffic accident in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv, including two children, following a collision between a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter truck and a BYD car on Salute Street. The impact caused the BYD to veer onto the sidewalk where pedestrians were present. 
Currently, it has been confirmed that five people have sustained injuries, including the driver of the car and his 11-year-old son, who were hospitalized. Additionally, three pedestrians were injured, including a woman with a one-and-a-half-year-old child. 
Law enforcement officials, including investigators from the capital’s police department, are on-site to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
