The police in Kryvyi Rih are currently investigating a murder that occurred in the Pokrovskyi district. According to the information provided by the Dnipropetrovsk police, an unknown assailant opened fire on a local resident. The man sadly succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Another individual was injured.
Authorities received the emergency call on September 26 at around 8 PM.
A forensic team, investigators, and local police leadership are on-site, conducting an initial investigation to identify the perpetrator.
Discussions are ongoing regarding the legal classification of the incident and the entry of information into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations.
Updated: Investigators have opened a criminal case under Part 2, Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional murder). A special police operation is underway in the region to locate and apprehend the attacker.
