Since yesterday morning, various institutions have been receiving false bomb threat reports via email. Among the locations checked were hospitals, educational institutions, shopping malls, and administrative buildings throughout Kyiv.
To verify this information, police units, investigative teams, bomb disposal experts, and dog handlers were dispatched to the sites. Authorities thoroughly searched all premises and surrounding areas. No explosive devices were found during these checks.
These false reports are part of an information war being waged by the enemy, aiming to destabilize society and instill panic among citizens. Nevertheless, every such report is taken seriously and thoroughly investigated.
The police remind: if you detect any suspicious items, please call 102 immediately.
It is emphasized that knowingly false information regarding threats to public safety, destruction, or damage to property is punishable by imprisonment for a term of 2 to 8 years (Article 259 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
