An accident with injuries took place in Vyshhorod. Kyiv region police are investigating the circumstances of the incident. The collision occurred on one of the streets in the village of Katyuzhanka involving two vehicles.
Preliminary information indicates that a 32-year-old local resident, driving a Toyota Land Cruiser SUV, attempted a left turn and collided with an oncoming Opel vehicle.
As a result of the incident, the driver of the SUV and a 34-year-old male passenger, along with a 42-year-old driver of the Opel and two passengers, sustained varying degrees of injuries and were hospitalized.
The investigators from the Vyshhorod district police department have initiated a criminal proceeding for violating traffic safety rules, resulting in bodily harm (Article 286, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
