Recently, police received a report of a fire at a summer house on Sukhohyarska Street in Bila Tserkva.
Firefighters quickly arrived at the scene and extinguished the flames. During the inspection of the building, they discovered the body of a 49-year-old woman who lived there. Forensic specialists documented the fire's aftermath at the scene.
The causes of the fire are currently being investigated. Findings regarding the cause of the blaze will be provided to the police by emergency service workers.
Investigators, under the supervision of the Bila Tserkva District Prosecutor's Office, have initiated a preliminary investigation into the violation of established fire or technological safety regulations that led to a fatality (part 2 of Article 270 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
