Cyber specialists from the Security Service of Ukraine have uncovered yet another Russian agent in the capital. According to the investigation, the individual was collecting information on the security systems of administrative buildings used by defense forces. SBU officers apprehended her while she was scouting near the Main Directorate of the National Guard of Ukraine. She was preparing a layout of checkpoint locations, posing a threat to national security.

The investigation revealed that the agent was also gathering intelligence on military recruitment centers in various districts of Kyiv. It is known that the enemy intended to use this information for terrorist attacks in Ukraine. The arrested individual turned out to be a 36-year-old freelancer recruited by the FSB through an acquaintance from the temporarily occupied Crimea.

The plans of the occupiers were thwarted, as SBU officers intervened in time. During the search, a smartphone was confiscated, which she used to communicate with her FSB handler. She is currently suspected of treason, which carries a life sentence. Investigative measures were conducted under the supervision of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
