The Security Service of Ukraine has revealed another attempt by Russian intelligence to infiltrate the Defense Forces. A mobilized soldier from the State Special Transport Service of the Ministry of Defense was arrested in Dnipropetrovsk region for collaborating with the enemy.

Investigations show that the soldier was recruited immediately after his mobilization. His pro-Russian comments on social media caught the attention of intelligence agencies. The agent's main task was to coordinate Russian airstrikes on Ukrainian positions.

Collected information about the military units' locations was transmitted to his Russian handler via messenger. The SBU documented his contacts with enemy agents, and evidence was found on his phone during the search.

The SBU has charged him with treason. The suspect is in custody and faces life imprisonment.
