SBU Uncovers Another Spy in Ukraine's Air Forces

The Security Service of Ukraine apprehended a new Russian intelligence agent preparing strikes on airfields.

The Security Service of Ukraine has arrested another agent of the Russian secret services within the Air Forces. This officer, an instructor pilot, was planning strikes on strategic targets.

As part of the investigation conducted by military counterintelligence, it was discovered that the agent was transmitting crucial information about airfields housing F-16 and Mirage 2000 aircraft. He gathered data on the locations of the planes and their combat sorties.

Additionally, the spy provided the Russian side with analytical information regarding strike tactics, which would allow them to carry out attacks on Ukrainian military facilities. By contacting Russian agents through anonymous channels, he attempted to avoid detection.

Currently, SBU investigators are preparing charges under the article on treason, which could lead to life imprisonment.
