A tragic accident in Dnipro has resulted in the death of a medical worker, while two others were injured.

This was reported by the police of Dnipropetrovsk region via their Telegram channel.

«The accident happened on July 19 at around 5 AM on Bohdan Khmelnytsky Avenue. Preliminary investigations suggest that the ambulance driver veered off the road and collided with a pole», the statement reads.

As a result, one of the medical personnel sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.

The other medical worker and the driver suffered bodily injuries.

A criminal proceeding has been initiated under part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violating traffic safety rules). The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
