On July 16, around 08:34, a traffic incident occurred in Bila Tserkva 

Law enforcement preliminarily established that a 25-year-old driver of a VAZ vehicle, while driving along Oleksandriiskyi Boulevard, struck a minor who was crossing the road at an uncontrolled pedestrian crossing.

As a result of the accident, the 9-year-old victim was hospitalized with injuries.

Investigators have initiated a pre-trial investigation regarding the violation of traffic safety rules that caused the victim moderate bodily harm (part 1 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Dear road users, Kyiv region police once again caution: adhere to traffic rules, as violations can cost lives.
