The Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine has uncovered and halted the operations of seven illegal gambling establishments in the Kyiv region.
According to law enforcement, these underground venues operated in non-residential premises in the cities of Bila Tserkva, Bucha, Irpin, Obukhiv, and Vasylkiv, even during curfew hours. Access was granted only to verified clients, who could enter solely by prior agreement with the administrators.
During the raids, the BEB seized over 100 units of computer equipment, surveillance cameras, mobile phones, transaction registrars, and also some accounting records. The estimated value of the confiscated property is 2 million UAH.
An investigation is currently underway to identify all individuals involved.
