The High Anti-Corruption Court has delivered a sentence to former Kyiv District Administrative Court judge Olena Vlasenko, imposing a prison term of 5 years and 6 months for accepting a bribe.

"On June 11, 2025, the panel of judges at the High Anti-Corruption Court announced the verdict for the former judge of the Kyiv District Administrative Court, who was caught receiving illegal payments from the deputy director of a commercial enterprise in exchange for decision-making in a case." - Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office

Although the anti-corruption authorities do not disclose the name of the individual involved, media reports indicate that it is indeed Vlasenko, who was apprehended for bribery in 2018.

The court found the ex-judge guilty of crimes under part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and imposed a sentence of 5 years and 6 months in prison, along with a prohibition on holding positions in public authorities for three years and the confiscation of all her property.

The verdict takes effect 30 days after its announcement unless appealed, according to the SAP.
