In Nikopol, during the firefighting efforts following a previous shelling, the enemy struck the rescuers who were battling the flames.

The service stated: "As a result of the enemy shelling, a fire broke out in a residential building. While working to extinguish it, the occupiers launched a second attack on the emergency workers. A fire truck was damaged."
