Four more children have been evacuated from the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region.
Among them is a young man who was forcibly taken to the military enlistment office and illegally added to the list of conscripts.
This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson regional military administration.
Ukraine has welcomed back 4 children.
"Four children have been evacuated from the occupied Kherson region: three boys and one girl," the statement reads.
The youngest child saved is only ten years old, while the oldest is seventeen.
According to available information, the 17-year-old boy was forcibly taken to the military commissariat, where his information was illegally recorded as that of a conscript, and he was even assigned a military specialty.
Currently, the released young man is with the other evacuated children in Ukraine-controlled territory.
Their lives are not in danger, and they are receiving necessary medical and psychological support.
This rescue operation was made possible by the initiative of the President of Ukraine, “Bring Kids Back UA,” and with the assistance of the charity organization “Save Ukraine.”
The regional military administration reports that since the beginning of the year, 39 children have been returned from the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson.
