The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a new order developed by the Ministry of Defense in cooperation with the President's Office regarding the establishment of centers for citizen training in national defense.

Details: This document outlines the procedures for the establishment and operation of the centers, regulating their activities. It also describes how the centers will interact with government bodies, local authorities, Territorial Defense Forces, and civil society organizations.

It is noted that the main goal of establishing these centers is to prepare Ukrainian citizens for national defense, fostering patriotic values, and providing the necessary knowledge and skills to protect the country.

The centers will be established in various regions and in Kyiv as municipal institutions. The initiators of their creation will be the heads of local administrations, with decisions approved by regional councils.

Funding for the centers will come from local budgets and other legally permissible sources. This includes training equipment, communication tools, weapon models, and other educational resources.

Certified specialists will be appointed as instructors at the centers, primarily veterans of the Armed Forces, with active military personnel also involved as needed.

The educational programs of the centers will be developed based on regional needs and standard military command programs.
