Over the past day, Russian forces conducted 189 strikes on the border areas of the Sumy region, resulting in 410 explosions and the death of one individual.

According to the Regional Administration: "A total of 410 explosions were recorded. The communities affected include Sumy, Yunakivka, Myropil, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Chupakhivka, Velykopysarivka, Putyvl, Novoslobidka, Hlukhiv, Shalyhyn, Esman, Svesa, Seredyna-Buda, Zhnob-Navgorod, and Yampil."

Specifically, 11 mines were dropped on the Esman community. Artillery shelling, VOG drops from drones, and FPV drone attacks were also recorded, totaling 43 explosions. As a result of these strikes, one civilian was killed, and a private residential house was damaged.

Additionally, two communities that faced heavy attacks were Krasnopillia with over 90 explosions and Yunakivka with 105 explosions.

In the Zhnob-Navgorod community, VOG drops from drones and an FPV drone attack were recorded, leading to the destruction of a private house.

In the Sumy community, an enemy drone strike damaged a private residential building.
