New Attacks in Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv Regions

Recent attacks by enemy forces in Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions have caused damage to businesses and residential buildings.

In Dnipropetrovsk region, due to Russian aggression, a fire broke out at a food processing facility, and vital infrastructure has been damaged. In the Kharkiv region, enemy drones struck a residential building.

Direct quote from Lysak: "Hostile drones are targeting our region… A fire occurred at a food processing plant in Pavlohrad. An FPV drone hit the Mezhiv community in Synelnykove district, causing infrastructure damage".

Details: According to the head of the OVA, in the Pidhorodnenska community of Dnipro district, dry grass and an auxiliary building caught fire due to the attack, and a summer house was also damaged. 

In Novopavlivka community, Russians struck with KABs (consequences are being clarified), while the city of Marhanets in Nikopol district was shelled with heavy artillery.

Preliminary reports indicate that there were no civilian casualties.

The State Emergency Service reported that on April 20, the occupiers attacked a residential building in the village of Kivsharivka in Kupiansk community with drones. 

"36 apartments were ablaze over an area of 1600 sq.m. There are no casualties or injuries – the building was uninhabited", – stated the State Emergency Service. 

Background:

  • On April 19, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a "Easter ceasefire" that supposedly involved stopping all hostilities in Ukraine from the evening of April 19 to midnight on April 21. Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that the occupiers would adhere to the ceasefire provided that Kyiv did the same.
