A new system has been launched in Ukraine to account for non-material damage caused during Russian aggression.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal shared this information.
“This system aims to document cases of the deportation of Ukrainians, the killing of civilians by Russian troops, and individuals who have gone missing,” he noted.
Shmyhal highlighted that the system will be integrated with other databases and will be overseen by the Ministry of Social Policy.
He also mentioned that nine categories in the Damage Register have already been opened for Ukrainians to submit their applications.
“We are working to ensure that all 45 categories of the Damage Register are available by the end of the year,” added the Prime Minister.
Reminder:
- Ukrainians have submitted over 20,000 applications through “Diia” to the international Damage Register due to Russian aggression.
