The company "Ukrainian Armored Engineering" is actively developing FPV munitions that utilize 82 mm and 120 mm mortar shells produced locally.

CEO Vladislav Belbas stated that testing of the FPV munitions based on the 82 mm mortar shell is currently underway at the testing ground. A drone with a 10-inch frame has been selected to carry the munitions.

This carrier drone has been designed by the engineers of "Ukrainian Armored Engineering" and will be manufactured at the company’s facilities with the involvement of contractors for some components.

The FPV munitions system based on the 82 mm shell will consist of 250 drones, a ground control station, and an antenna with a repeater. The product is expected to be standardized by the end of January.

The company’s engineers are also working on heavier FPV munitions based on 120 mm shells. Concurrently, they are developing an FPV wing that will be capable of carrying shells of various calibers.

"Ukrainian Armored Engineering" has already completed the standardization and initiated mass production of drops for bomber drones based on its own 60, 82, and 120 mm shells. These munitions differ from standard shells by having redesigned tail fins for stability during dropping and contact fuses with initiating mechanisms.

We remind you that the first FPV munitions from "Ukrainian Armored Engineering" was the UB60D drone equipped with a 60 mm shell, standardized in July last year. Its mass production began in September, and its price ranges from 5.8 to 6.2 million UAH depending on the configuration.

The drones are supplied to the front lines already equipped and require little time to prepare for combat. The production capacity allows the company to manufacture up to 20,000 FPV munitions per month.
