Starting from 6 PM on December 9, the aggressors initiated an attack on Ukraine, deploying 80 combat drones, including Shahed models, Gerbera, and others from various directions such as Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo, and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea). Approximately 50 of these drones were Shahed.
The attack was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and other elements, including mobile fire groups.
As of 9 AM on December 10, air defense had recorded the destruction of 50 drones in southern and eastern Ukraine, with confirmed hits on 29 combat drones across seven locations.
The assault is ongoing, with several hostile drones still present in the airspace.
During the night of December 10, a Russian drone struck a civilian facility in the Korukivka district of Chernihiv Oblast, causing a fire.
