The defense operations in Pokrovsk are currently in full swing, focusing on the expansion of logistics corridors. This information has been shared by the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces via Telegram.
The enemy is bogged down in urban combat for Pokrovsk and is unable to seize the city by force. Consequently, the aggressors are attempting to bolster propaganda and misinformation, manipulating fabrications about the alleged “capture of Pokrovsk.” This is occurring both overtly and covertly.
The situation in the area of responsibility of the 7th Corps remains tense. The enemy is actively storming the northern part of Pokrovsk. Ukrainian soldiers continue their tasks to defend the city, holding back the Russian advance.
“In certain areas, the enemy is trying to operate near logistics routes. However, in these zones, the rate of enemy neutralization is faster than their movement,” noted the Ukrainian military.
Logistics remain complicated but operational. The operation to expand logistics corridors is underway.
Despite intense combat actions, over the past week, the defense forces in the Mirnograd area have conducted several personnel rotations.
Various components of the Defense Forces, including Air Assault Troops, assault units, UAVs, Special Operations Forces, Security Service, National Guard, and National Police, continue to be involved in the defense of the Pokrovsk agglomeration.
