On November 29, Kyiv experienced damage at 18 locations across seven districts due to a massive Russian attack. This was reported by Timur Tkachенко, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, via Telegram.
According to him, "preliminary reports from medical teams indicate 35 injured individuals. This number is dynamic, as everyone is working in emergency mode. Among the injured is a 10-year-old boy".
"Every loss is painful, without a doubt. The world needs to know that Russia targets families. Last night, an enemy drone killed a 42-year-old man, and his son with burns and other injuries was hospitalized. This is the only child we have confirmed among the victims so far," Tkachенко informed.
"Within a day or two, some of the injured will be discharged after receiving the necessary assistance. However, there are some who have been admitted to the hospital in critical condition. All doctors are working to save lives. I want to commend our medical staff, who have been working efficiently at the highest level last night," Tkachенко noted.
He emphasized that utility workers and social support services have been deployed or are working at all locations where housing has been damaged:
- A headquarters has been operating since morning in the Sviatoshynsky district at 18 Chystiakivska Street.
- In the Darnytsky district, the headquarters is located at 21 Kharkiv Highway.
- In the Solomyansky district, a headquarters has been established at the district state administration at 41 Air Forces Avenue.
- In the Holosiivsky district, two mobile headquarters are operational: at 11 Horikhivatka Street and at 20a Zabolotnoho Street.
Tkachенко emphasized that emergency assistance measures are personally coordinated by the heads of the districts.
As of 14:00, he stated that six apartment buildings, at least two private homes, 11 vehicles, and a shopping center have been damaged.
Tkachенко stressed: "The Russians clearly demonstrate targeted terror against our residential areas. Today, air defense did everything possible to deflect and minimize the threat. Despite the damage and painful losses, we must thank and support the Defense Forces daily. They hold the front, they hold the sky. Under such pressure — 600 drones, over 30 missiles".
He separately thanked firefighters, police, charities, organizations, and utility workers.
He informed that the contacts of the headquarters and information about all possible support for the victims can be found in the chatbot eOpora: @eopora_bot.
