Ukrainian air defense forces successfully neutralized 72 of the 90 drones launched by Russian forces during the evening of November 25. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
Starting from 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 25, the aggressors launched an attack on Ukraine with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Rostov region, as well as 90 strike UAVs of various types including Shahed, from the directions of Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Hvardijske (temporarily occupied Crimea). Approximately 55 of the drones were of the Shahed type.
The air assault was met with a response from aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's defense forces.
According to preliminary data as of 9:00 AM on Wednesday, November 26, the air defense system shot down 72 UAVs in the northern, southern, and eastern parts of Ukraine.
There were recorded impacts from missiles and 10 strike drones across 10 locations.
The attack is ongoing, with several enemy UAVs still in the airspace.
