The Ukrainian air defense forces have neutralized 69 out of 98 enemy drones, as reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
Since 7:00 PM on Saturday, November 22, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine with 98 strike UAVs of the Shahed type, "Herbera", and other types from the directions of: Orel, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), and Chauda (Crimea). Approximately 60 UAVs were of the Shahed type.
The aerial assault was countered by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 8:30 AM on Sunday, November 23, the air defense had downed or suppressed 69 drones in the northern, southern, and eastern regions of Ukraine.
There were confirmed hits of 27 strike UAVs at 12 locations.
The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones remaining in the airspace.
Over the past day, Russian forces attacked Dnipro and three districts of the region, resulting in 14 casualties, including an 11-year-old girl.
