The Ukrainian defense forces have successfully neutralized 442 drones, 34 Kh-101 cruise missiles, and seven Kalibr missiles. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
Since 18:00 on Tuesday, November 18, Russia intensified attacks on critical infrastructure in Ukraine, employing strike drones and missiles of various bases.
Overall, the radio engineering troops of the Air Forces detected and tracked 524 aerial threats – 48 missiles and 476 drones of different types:
- 476 Shahed drones and "Gerbera" drones launched from the directions of Shatalovo, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), and Gvardeyskoye (temporarily occupied Crimea). About 300 of them are Shahed drones;
- 40 Kh-101 cruise missiles (from the Vologda and Astrakhan regions);
- seven Kalibr missiles (from the Black Sea area);
- one Iskander-M ballistic missile (from the Rostov region).
The main targets of the strikes were the Lviv, Ternopil, and Kharkiv regions.
Air defense, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled the attacks.
As of 10:00 on Wednesday, November 19, the air defense system has shot down or suppressed 483 aerial targets:
- 442 drones;
- 34 Kh-101 cruise missiles;
- seven Kalibr missiles.
It was noted that seven missiles and 34 strike drones hit 14 locations, and debris fell in six locations.
The attack continues, with several enemy drones still in the airspace.
