Military actions continue as Russian drones have launched new attacks on the railway station in Dnipro and the suburban depot serving passenger trains. Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksii Kuleba reported this on Telegram.
"Last night, the enemy targeted the railway infrastructure in Dnipro. Fortunately, there were no casualties," he stated.
"The suburban depot has suffered critical damage from dozens of drone attacks. This is the second time during the war that the enemy has massively targeted it," Kuleba noted.
According to him, the main repair shop has been significantly destroyed.
"The station in Dnipro has also been damaged. Debris removal and rapid restoration efforts have begun," Kuleba added.
Despite this, morning trains from Dnipro have been sent according to schedule, the minister emphasized.
"Additionally, the enemy has struck several railway stations in the Kharkiv region. In Berestiane, a railway worker was injured and received all necessary medical assistance. Wagons and other infrastructure at four stations have been damaged," the report stated.
"These terrorist strikes are aimed at destroying our logistics system. However, we are doing everything possible to maintain connections between communities and swiftly restore full movement in all directions," the minister assured.
