Recent strikes on energy facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Odesa regions have exacerbated the situation. This was confirmed by NEC "Ukrenergo" on its Facebook page.
"This morning, we registered damage to equipment and power outages for consumers in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. Additionally, energy facilities in Odesa were also targeted. Urgent repairs are underway wherever possible. Our specialists are doing everything they can to restore power supply to all consumers as quickly as possible", the statement reads.
Due to the consequences of previous attacks, power restriction schedules for industrial consumers and hourly disconnection schedules in 2-4 phases will be implemented in Ukraine on November 13. The greatest restrictions are expected during evening hours.
As of 9:30 AM on Thursday, electricity consumption remains at the level of the previous day. "Considering the aftermath of the attacks and weather conditions, it is advisable to conserve electricity until the end of the day. Please limit the use of high-power appliances and shift energy-intensive processes to nighttime when the load on the energy system is lower", advises the system operator.
