Countering drones has become a crucial aspect of Ukraine's security on November 10, as air defense forces managed to neutralize 53 out of 119 drones launched by Russian military. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the attack commenced at 6 PM and originated from various directions: Kursk, Millerovo, Orel, Bryansk (RF), and Gvardeyskoye (temporarily occupied Crimea).
The majority of the drones were of the Shahed type, targeting frontline areas in Donetsk, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Odesa regions.
Defensive measures involved aviation, anti-aircraft forces, electronic warfare units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces.
As of 09:30 on November 11, air defense reported the destruction of 53 drones in northern, eastern, and southern Ukraine.
A total of 59 hits were recorded at 18 locations, and debris from the downed drones fell at one site. The attack continues, with enemy drones still present in the airspace, as warned by the Air Forces.
