Due to Russian attacks, there have been new damages to Ukraine's energy infrastructure. By the end of the day, consumption limits are being implemented in many regions. This was reported by the NPP "Ukrenergo" on Facebook.
"As a result of hostile actions – there are new damages to energy facilities in several areas. The process of eliminating the consequences of previous massive missile and drone attacks on the energy system continues. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore the damaged equipment as quickly as possible," the message states.
Because of the consequences of the massive attacks, power restriction schedules for industrial consumers and hourly outages of 2 to 4 shifts will be applied in most regions throughout the day on November 10.
Electricity consumption in Ukraine remains high.
"Given the weather conditions and the aftermath of the Russian attacks – the need for energy conservation will persist throughout the day. Please limit the use of high-power electrical appliances and move energy-intensive processes to nighttime, when the load on the energy system is at its lowest. Each consumer's energy-saving will contribute to a shorter duration of forced outages for everyone," Ukrenergo emphasized.
