New Strike in Dnipropetrovsk: Coal Mines Left Without Power

A recent attack by Russia left eight coal mines without power, with 2595 miners underground at the time.

Due to another attack by Russia on Dnipropetrovsk, eight coal mines have been left without electricity. At the time of the strike, 2595 miners were underground. Rescue teams and mine personnel quickly organized the emergency evacuation of all workers. Preliminary reports indicate that there are no casualties. This information is reported by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
As a result of the latest Russian strike on Dnipropetrovsk region, eight coal mines were cut off from electricity. At the time of the outage, 2595 miners were still underground.
Rescue teams, in collaboration with mine staff, promptly began the process of bringing people to the surface. Currently, according to initial information, there are no fatalities or injuries.
“Russia continues its energy terror. This latest strike poses a threat to the lives of thousands of miners. Russia is waging war against civilians. Their tactic is clear — to leave Ukrainians without light and heat in winter,” stated Ukraine's Minister of Energy Svitlana Hrynchuk.
Emergency crews are continuing their work to restore power supply and stabilize the situation at the facilities.
