On November 4, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced a successful operation in the "grey zone" of the former Kakhovka Reservoir.
The operation was carried out by fighters from the "Brotherhood" unit, which is part of the special forces unit "Timur".
In the area of "Velyki Kuchuhury", located 7 km from the shoreline, GUR special forces discovered and eliminated two Russian invaders.
"Over the islands, the Brotherhood fighters raised the blue and yellow flag and took control of the territory," the statement adds.
Earlier, GUR fighters had hunted down three radar stations and a landing boat of the Russians in Crimea.
