Drone Assault: New Challenges for Ukraine

Overview of the drone attack on Ukraine on October 26 and air defense measures.

On the night of October 25-26, the enemy launched a massive assault using 101 strike drones, including Shahed and Herber types, from various directions such as Kursk, Orel, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. Approximately 60 of these drones were of the "Shahed" type. This was reported by the press service of the Air Force via Telegram.
The defense of Ukraine's airspace was provided by military aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups.
Preliminary data as of 09:00 indicates that 90 enemy drones of various types were destroyed or suppressed in the north, south, and east of the country.
There have been reports of five hits by strike drones at four locations, as well as the debris falling at five sites. The attack is ongoing, and several enemy drones remain in the airspace. Please stay safe!
