As of 09:00, Ukraine's air defense successfully intercepted 72 enemy drones, including Shahed and Gerbera types, across various regions. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Air Force via Telegram.
"Preliminary data indicates that as of 09:00, the air defense has intercepted 72 enemy drones of the 'Shahed', 'Gerbera' types, with 47 strikes recorded over 10 locations. The attack continues, and several enemy drones remain in the airspace," the message states.
It is noted that on the night of October 24, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 128 strike drones of the 'Shahed', 'Gerbera', and other types from the following directions: Kursk, Millerovo, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF, Chauda, Hvardeyske – TOT AR Crimea, with about 90 being 'Shaheds'.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The day before, the air defense intercepted 92 enemy drones of the 'Shahed', 'Gerbera', and other types.
