The share of small and medium enterprises in Ukraine that actively utilize artificial intelligence tools has doubled over the past year, reaching 42%.
This was announced by Inga Andreyeva, CEO of Mastercard in Ukraine and Moldova, at the Kyiv International Economic Forum.
"42% reported that they have started using artificial intelligence, compared to a 21% lower figure last year," she emphasized.
According to her, the main areas where AI is implemented in small and medium businesses are marketing, communications, and targeting.
The CEO of Mastercard added that 85% of small and medium enterprises are currently using digital channels due to their convenience and speed, while 93% are utilizing cashless payments in Ukraine.
"72% of respondents indicated that more than 50% of their transactions are conducted through cashless payments," Andreyeva clarified.
She also reported that 62% of small and medium businesses are currently exporting their products or plan to start exporting in the near future.
