The air defense forces successfully neutralized 54 out of 78 drones launched by Russian invaders against Ukraine on the evening of October 10. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force on Telegram.
Starting from 8 PM on Friday, October 10, the enemy launched an attack with 78 strike UAVs, including Shahed types and others, from directions including: Orel, Millerovo, Kursk (RF), and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea). More than 40 of these were Shahed drones.
The attack was repelled by electronic warfare units, UAV systems, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's defense forces.
As of 9 AM on Saturday, October 11, preliminary data shows that air defense shot down 54 enemy UAVs in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
There were recorded hits from 21 strike drones at six different locations. The attack continues, with several enemy UAVs remaining in the airspace.
