The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has confirmed that a missile strike was carried out on the "Electrodetail" plant in Bryansk Oblast on September 29. This facility specializes in manufacturing electrical connectors for military equipment. According to the General Staff, "to diminish the capabilities of the occupying forces, our units launched four missiles at a target located more than 240 km away".
As a result of the strike, explosions and fire were recorded at the site. "We are still verifying the outcomes," the General Staff added.
The "Electrodetail" plant produces various electrical connectors used across multiple industries, including aviation and electronics. The governor of Bryansk Oblast, Alexander Bogomaz, did not comment on the attack.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, 24 drones were shot down over Bryansk Oblast during the night.
Earlier, Russian sources reported an attack on the "Electrodetail" plant, known for developing electronic components for military use.
