On Sunday, September 28, Ukraine's air defense successfully neutralized 23 out of 32 Russian drones. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.
Starting from 8 PM, the Russians launched 32 strike UAVs of various types, including Shahed and Gerbera, from directions such as Bryansk, Oryol, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. About 20 of these were Shahed drones.
The assault was countered using aircraft, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Defense Forces.
As of 9 AM on Monday, September 29, the air defense had shot down or suppressed 23 Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of drones in northern and eastern Ukraine.
Nine strikes were recorded at eight locations. The attack continues, with new groups of strike drones emerging in the north and east, as warned by the Air Forces.
