The Ukrainian armed forces successfully neutralized 128 Russian drones out of 154 that were used to attack Ukraine on the evening of September 25.
This was reported by the Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their Facebook page.
On the night of September 26 (from 18:00 on September 25), the enemy launched an attack with 154 strike UAVs of various types, including Shahed, Gerbera, and others, from directions such as Bryansk, Oryol, and Milleryovo – Russia. About 80 of them were of the Shahed type.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 07:30, the air defense managed to shoot down or suppress 128 enemy UAVs, including Shahed, in the north, south, east, and central regions of the country.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Ukrainian forces shot down a Russian Su-34 aircraft in the morning of September 25.
