In Shandryholove, located in the Donetsk region, Russian soldiers committed a horrific act by shooting a family of civilians and abducting a child. This was reported by the Third Army Corps on their Facebook page.
"In our area of responsibility, near Shandryholove, the occupants ruthlessly shot civilians and took a minor girl hostage. The enemy uses her as a living shield for their units, continuing to advance in the direction of Lyman," the message stated.
Intercepted radio communications revealed that before the assault on Shandryholove, a Russian commander with the call sign "Bali" ordered the destruction of civilians, instructing to act swiftly and "kill without mercy."
Russian troops entered a residential building and shot the child's parents. They then abducted the girl, continuing their assault while holding her hostage to complicate any return fire against them.
This war crime has been documented by the corps' units. All intercepted communications indicate that the actions of the Russians were premeditated, emphasized the Third Army Corps.
