During a recent assault, Ukraine's air defense forces managed to neutralize 60 out of 84 enemy drones.

This information was shared by the command of the Air Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

Beginning at 7 PM on Monday, September 8th, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine with 84 strike drones, including Shahed and 'Gerbera' types, from various directions, including Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, with over 50 of them being Shahed drones.

The defense was conducted by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

As of 8:30 AM on Tuesday, September 9th, preliminary reports indicated that air defense had shot down 60 drones of the Shahed, 'Gerbera', and other types in the north, south, and east of the country. A total of 23 hits were recorded across 10 locations.
