Kyiv: aftermath of the nighttime drone strike. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Kyiv.
As a result of the attack, 1 person has died and 18 have been injured.
In the Svyatoshynskyi district, several apartment buildings were damaged: a fire broke out from the 6th to the 9th floors of a nine-story building, causing partial collapse of ceilings, while in another building, there was a fire on the upper floors, and yet another saw a fire on the 3rd floor. An aircraft hangar and several cars were also destroyed.
In the Darnytskyi district, a hit was recorded in a four-story residential building, resulting in a fire on two floors and partial destruction.
The fires have been localized, and rescue operations are ongoing.
Later, the State Emergency Service reported that the death toll from the Russian drone and missile strike on Kyiv has risen to two, with 18 people injured. In the Svyatoshynskyi district, a nine-story building was partially destroyed, and efforts to extinguish the fire are ongoing. Aviation from the State Emergency Service is involved in addressing the aftermath of the attack.
