Starting from 7:00 PM on September 1, Russian forces launched an assault with 150 Shahed-type UAVs and various imitation drones from directions including Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea).
The defense was carried out by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups.
As of 8:00 AM on September 2, preliminary data indicates that air defense forces shot down or suppressed 120 Shahed-type drones and other UAVs across the north, south, east, and central Ukraine.
30 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 9 locations, with debris falling in 5 areas.
