Ukrainian air defense forces have successfully neutralized 76 out of 86 drones launched by Russian troops on the evening of August 31.

Starting from 8:30 PM on Sunday, August 31, Russian military forces launched an attack using 86 Shahed strike drones and various imitation drones from directions including Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Hvardiyiske (temporarily occupied Crimea).

The defense was coordinated by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 AM on Monday, September 1, the air defense had shot down or suppressed 76 Shahed drones and imitation drones attacking from the north, south, east, and center of Ukraine.
