Ukraine will allocate 739 billion UAH for the production and procurement of weapons in 2025, ensuring long-term contracts for the defense sector.

This was announced by the leader of the "Servant of the People" party, MP Olena Shulyak.

According to her, in 2025, the focus will be on producing long-range weapons made in Ukraine, as last year's investments in this area have already yielded results on the battlefield. The leader of "Servant of the People" reminded that Ukraine has tested and launched its own cruise missiles into mass production, as well as developed and tested ballistic missiles. Furthermore, earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced plans to manufacture 30,000 long-range drones capable of covering over a thousand kilometers to strike important military and economic targets in the aggressor country.

"Today, our long-range missiles and drones are hitting strategic Russian military targets far behind the front lines. They incapacitate oil refineries supplying fuel for Russian military equipment and destroy RF defense factories, disrupting logistics chains and eliminating troop concentrations and equipment. Therefore, increasing the production of long-range weapons will enable the Ukrainian Defense Forces to strike even more intensively on enemy territory," – stated Olena Shulyak.

The parliamentarian added that this year, long-term contracts for the production of weapons and ammunition are also planned, as this was one of the key requests from defense enterprises.

The leader of "Servant of the People" also recalled that the party systematically and consistently supports the Ukrainian army and invests in the domestic defense industry. Throughout the full-scale war, the "Servant of the People" has already allocated 400 million UAH for the Defense Forces, and an additional 49 million UAH from savings in the party's funding has been directed to the state budget. These funds have been used to purchase domestic anti-tank missile systems "Stugna-P" for the National Guard and 2000 electronic warfare systems produced in Ukraine.

Moreover, according to Olena Shulyak, deputies of the "Servant of the People" party in the regions also show an active stance in supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, unanimously advocating for additional funding for defense and often initiating such decisions in their local councils. In particular, nearly 20 billion UAH has been allocated to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the budgets of regions, districts, and communities across the country at the initiative of the "Servant of the People" deputies.
