Russian forces struck a transport infrastructure site in Zaporizhzhia, resulting in 12 injuries, with one person in critical condition.
This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Ivan Fedorov, on his Telegram channel.
At 18:07, Fedorov informed about the hostile strike on the city. According to him, smoke is observed in one area.
Later, he clarified that two individuals were injured due to the strike on the transport infrastructure.
Subsequently, the number of injured rose to three, with their conditions assessed as moderate.
At 18:52, the head of the regional administration reported that the number of injured had reached eight, one of whom is in serious condition.
Four individuals are in moderate condition. The rescue operation is ongoing.
In a video statement, Fedorov noted that the enemy had carried out two strikes on Zaporizhzhia.
“Rescuers are clearing the debris. There is preliminary information that there may be people trapped under the rubble,” he said.
The second strike targeted the university clinic of the Zaporizhzhia Medical University. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported there, but the health facility's buildings were also damaged.
As of 19:19, the number of injured has increased to 12.
