On the night of August 7, Russian-made drones known as «Shaheds» targeted the civilian infrastructure of the Dnipro Railway.

This was reported on Facebook by Oleksandr Pertzovsky, the chairman of JSC «Ukrzaliznytsia».

«Another night.... Another series of mass drone strikes on entirely civilian railway infrastructure. This time it’s the Dnipro area,» he stated in his post.

Fortunately, there were no casualties as all on-duty staff had been moved to shelters. Plans are underway to restore the damaged infrastructure and equipment.
