On the night of August 4, Russian forces launched a new offensive against Ukraine using "Iskander-M" ballistic missiles and 46 Shahed drones along with various imitators. A total of 29 drones were intercepted, but there were also confirmed hits.

This was reported by the Air Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.

Direct quote from the AFU: "As of 08:00, our air defense has shot down 29 enemy UAVs of the Shahed type and imitators in the northern and eastern regions of the country.

Confirmed hits include 17 UAVs in the eastern direction, 1 ballistic missile, and wreckage from downed drones found in 3 locations in the southern and northeastern areas."

Details: It was reported that the invaders launched drones from the direction of Russian cities Kursk, Bryansk, Orel, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, while the missile was fired from the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation.

The air assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
