The Ukrainian Air Defense successfully neutralized 45 out of 53 drones launched by Russian forces on the evening of August 1.

From 6 PM on Friday, August 1, the enemy conducted an attack using 53 aerial devices: 45 Shahed drones and various types of imitation drones from directions including Millerovo, Kursk, Bryansk (RF), Hvardiyiske (temporarily occupied Crimea), along with eight reactive drones from Bryansk region.
The air strike was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups.
As of 9 AM on Saturday, August 2, the air defense had shot down 45 aerial targets: eight reactive drones and 37 Shahed drones and imitation drones across northern, southern, eastern, and central Ukraine.
Eight drones were recorded hitting in five locations, along with the falling debris from the downed targets in two areas.
