On the night of July 30, Ukraine faced a new assault from Russian troops using 78 Shahed-type drones and other UAVs. As a result of operations, Ukrainian forces neutralized 51 enemy drones, although there were hits recorded.

This was reported by the Air Forces of Ukraine. 

According to them: "As of 09:00, air defense has destroyed 51 enemy UAVs in the northern and eastern regions. There were 27 recorded hits in 7 locations, and debris fell in 2 areas."

The invaders launched drones starting from 22:30 (July 29) from various directions: Oryol, Kursk, and Hvardiyyske - temporarily occupied Crimea. The Air Forces noted that during the night, the enemy deployed up to 8 reactive drones in the northern direction. The attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of defense forces.
